Healthe Breathing

-Smoking Cessation Program-

Our new smoking cessation program is offered to health plan participants and will be effective April 1, 2008.

We understand change can be difficult... moving, a new job, losing weight, and/or quitting smoking.This is why Advocate Health Care has included "Healthe Breathing", a smoking cessation enhancement to Healthe You. Advocate is working with Nationwide Better Health® to manage this program and provide tools to make these changes as easy as possible.

Nationwide Better Health® specializes in lifestyle management and focuses on smoking cessation by providing individualized coaching and support to help you quit, and stay quit.

Components included in this program are:

  • Nationwide Better Health® Coaching
    • The first step to success in the program is participation in the Nationwide Better Health® supportive coaching sessions. These sessions are free to health plan participants and their covered spouse/domestic partner.

To sign-up, please call 866-835-5067; 8am to 8pm Monday - Friday.

  • HealthMedia® BreatheTM Program
    • The Healthe You Breathe program, sponsored by HealthMedia is the next step to success. This personalized smoking cessation program offers on-line tools and advice and is designed to compliment the Nationwide Better Health® coaching sessions.

                To get started in the Breathe program,
    • Logon to www.advocateinfoexpress.com.
    • Click on "Health and Welfare Benefits"
    • Enter your information and click on the "Healthe You" link at the bottom of the page. 

You must complete the Succeed Questionnaire to have access to the Breathe program.

  • Pharmacy Benefit
    • The Nationwide Better Health® coach will assist participants in selecting appropriate drug therapies right for them.  Prescription therapy will require a visit with your doctor and will be subject to the co-pays under the pharmacy benefit plan.
  • Get your Healthe Reward!
    • Advocate Health Care recognizes that by following these steps you will maximize your opportunities for success.In turn, you will be eligible to earn your Healthe Reward bonus upon approval from the Nationwide Health Coach.
