Long Term Care Insurance
Long-term care insurance offers important financial security for you and your family that can protect your assets -- and preserve your independence -- should you or a family member ever need long-term care.

That's why Advocate offers eligible associates and their family members the opportunity to enroll in Simplicityii long-term care insurance from MedAmerica Insurance Company. This coverage is designed to provide a monthly cash benefit that can be used to help pay the cost of care. When you enroll, simply choose the monthly cash benefit you want to receive. Then, when you or a covered family member needs long-term care, you can use your monthly cash benefit as you choose -- for the care you want, from whomever you want, wherever you want. It's that simple.

You and your eligible family members can enroll in Simplicityii. Family members you may include under your coverage -- or who may enroll in coverage for themselves -- include your spouse or domestic partner, parents, parents-in-law, grandparents, grandparents-in-law, adult children and their spouses, and siblings and their spouses.

Important! If you enroll in Simplicityii during the initial enrollment period -- Semptember 1 through November 30, 2007 -- and you are a Full-Time or Part-Time A associate, you can take advantage of "simplified underwriting" by answering just a few medical questions to qualify for coverage. If your spouse or domestic partner enrolls during this enrollment period -- and is working 30 or more hours a week -- he or she may also take advantage of "simplified underwriting".
