In November 2008 Advocate was recognized as a Gold Level Recipient of the American Heart Association's Start! Fit-Friendly Companies Recognition program.

In October 2009 Advocate recieved the American Heart Association Platinum Award. This year we have been recognized as a Platinum Level Start! Fit-Friendly Company for fulfilling the following parameters
